Our Family Vail Trip 2008

Last week Gordon, Mikara and I flew out to Vail for family vacation. We met our friends Jason, Jaime, Tyler and Dylan out there and we all had a blast together! Mikara was so good on all the plane rides and in the cold weather. Gordon and I took turns skiing so the other could stay with Mikara. She will be able to go into ski school once she is potty trained! One night we went to a Ranch for dinner and a sleighride (Karen I think you would have loved the Ranch!!). Then on Saturday we drove over to Aspen just to see what it was like (Vail was better in our opinion and we also ran into the Winter X Games! Our trip was wonderful and here are some of our pictures.

Ok......Meanwhile back in Naples....Lexy spent the week with GG and PeePaw. She partied it up everynight and had sooooo much fun! See the proof below!!!

Mikara is now 9 months old!!!!

She:
-is so sweet.
-gives kisses
-tries to makes sure we see her smile
-20LBs 11oz, and 28 1/4 in. long
- says hi, baba, dada, mama (says hi like a little country girl as she waves "haaaaaaaa")
- understands 'no'
- eats just about everything we eat...loves chicken, turkey, steak, cheese and blueberry yogert

-doesn't like any kind of bread

- took 4 steps while holding onto her little car

- talks to Lexy (so funny)

- takes her little mirror and looks behind her (so funny)
-tries to stand without holding onto anything.

-still loves Dora but also loves Wonder Pets, Blues Clues and Diego.

-in 3 days we are taking Mikara to Vail, check back for pictures of Mikara's first time in the snow!!! We are excited!
