Nieces and Nephews!

I LOVE THIS OUTFIT!
This is one of my favorite pictures right now. She looks like such a big girl sitting up in the grocery cart. She loved it! Our baby girl is getting so big!

First Hair Cut

We trimmed Mikara's hair the other night. We just touched up the sides. These pics don't really do it justice because it was such a little bit of trim but they are still cute pics.

Mikara is 5 Months Old!!

Mikara is now 5 months old. She is doing so many new things everyday. She has always been fun to us, but now she even more fun! She sits up with support, she sits up in her bath and plays with toys and splashes the water for as long as I will let her, she is teething and chews on EVERYTHING!, but no teeth yet, she "talks" up a storm and is sooooo loud now. She just doesn't sit still anymore. Her new nickname is "Wiggle" which her Daddy came up with and it fits her perfect, she is bouncy, loves to stand with help, giggles and smiles all the time, and is growing like a weed. I just packed up an entire bag of 0-3 month clothes that she can't fit into anymore. But thanks to EVERYONE we are still all set on clothes. I probably won't have to buy anything until she is a year old! Baby showers are awsome! Oh, and PS we are dressing Mikara as a Black Cat on Halloween....I found a baby outfit at Walmart and it is soooooo cute! Can't wait to dress her up! I will post pics :)

Mikara watching TV!!

Mikara LOVES to watch TV! Her favorite shows seem to be Dora the Explorer which she laughs and smiles at and Little Bear, Blue Clues, and Wonder Pets. Below are two pics of her totally into her shows! I love the one in her playpen. I was cooking and when I looked over at her she had rolled to her tummy and stuck her little head above the bar so she could watch Dora. She is so darn cute!

So Tired!!!

Funny Story....Mikara woke up at 5:30am the other morning because her diaper had leaked. YUCK! I got up like a zombie and stumbled to her room. Leaving the light off I took her sleeper off, cleaned her up and put her diaper back on. Then I took out another sleeper and I put her feet in, put her arms in and then tried to button her up, but the buttons wouldn't line up. Then I realized that her feet were sticking out of the the bottom!!! (which they are not supposed to do!) Remember it was very dark and I was practically still asleep....I had her sleeper on upside down!!! LOL!!! That was why the buttons were not lined up and her feet were actually sticking out of her arms!!!! I couldn't believe it HA!! I had the whole thing on her too HA! Just thought that was funny.

Our Date with Gordon!

Mikara and I went on a date Saturday night with Gordon. We went to dinner at Tommy Bahamas.

Mikara was so good. I love the dress she wore. I think she looked so pretty.

This is me at Mikara's age. I think it looks like her but she has more hair! Compare it to the pic below, the one above she is squinting. I think she might end up looking like me with Gordon's eyes. Just my guess.

She always looks at her Puppy so funny when he talks and sings to her.

Deep Creek Lake Maryland

Last week Gordon, Mikara and I went to Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. It was very beautiful.
