Sweet Potato Time

August was a wonderful Summer month. Mikara is doing so much more everyday. She is so fun. She had her four month doctors appointment this month and is 24 inches long and 15LBS all on the average scale. She is now eating baby food mixed with her cereal. She loves sweet potatoes, peaches and pears. Not too keen on peas yet but she has only had them one time so maybe the next time. She growls when she eats the sweet potatoes thought LOL! She opens her month when the spoon gets close.

Everything else is going great. My website business is finally going and I have my first client. I hope to get more business soon. Gordon is doing great in golf and his business is good. Lexy is being a good girl like always. We are leaving for West Virginia on Monday for 4 days to look at a lake community that my sister just bought some land in for a vacation home. We may do the same. We are going to check in out so that should be fun. I should have pictures to post when we get back.

Football is starting. The Bucs and the Ravens are looking good! Two teams to watch is fun. Gordon has always been a Bucs fan even when we lived in MD. I don't like their uniforms though. Good think he didn't ask me which Florida team we should route for because I would have picked the Dolphins because I like their uniforms LOL!!! I personally like to watch the Ravens because I know the people better and I like their colorful field! HA! We got Mikara a Tampa Bay Cheerleading outfit to wear on Sundays!

Well we still have another month of summer weather here. It will slowly start to drop a degree every few days so it isn't bad. But the beautiful weather is just around the corner. I will take another hot month to have 7 straight months of paradise weather!!!

I have always loved to decorate for Holidays but now that we have Mikara I am super excited for the Holiday's to come. We will get to dress Mikara up for Halloween and maybe take her trick or treating with her little friend Riley.

This weekend we are going to my moms to cookout for Labor Day. We will swim in the pool and cookout. Should be fun. Well that's in for now I guess. I rambled on today. Talk to you all soon and enjoy the pics!

Our Sweet Lexy Lulu

I worked yesterday and Gordon stayed home with Mikara. Normally Lexy will lay by the door ALL DAY until whoever is out comes home. But yesterday Gordon said Lexy stayed with Mikara all day. When she napped in her room Lexy laid in there with her. She is so sweet and such a loving, caring doggie. She really loves Mikara and even walks up and sniffs her and then gives her a kiss. I just thought this was a nice story to share. :)

Mikara is 4 Months Old!!

Mikara is now 4 months old. We have seen a big difference in just the last week in her activity. She is rolling over from her back to tummy often, she LOVES to go for a walk in her stroller. She is also eating her night time cereal from a spoon in her high chair. She gets it all over her face. It is so much fun to feed her. She has held her bottle, loves to sit up (with help), and chews on everything! She is fitting into most of her girly outfits that I got at my baby shower. I already have a bunch to pack away. I can't believe that! Our little baby is getting so big so fast. I don't know what I will think when she is 3 years old if I think only 4 months has gone this fast!!!
